Overview

Arc Energy Resources specialises in the supply of corrosion resistant cladding and the manufacturing of fabrications for the nuclear, oil & gas, renewable energy, petrochemical, defence, agritech, rail, and water industries, delivered by a highly qualified, fully accredited and experienced team.
Our experienced team of coded welders supported by 3 European Wedling Engineers and Project Managers regularily deliver Nuclear Quality fabricated and welded packages on a wide variety of materials and process's for new build, decom and defence projects. Accredited to ISO3834 and 1090-2 to execution class 3.

Arc Energy’s weld overlay cladding services are utilised by clients in a vast number of industry sectors where service conditions require corrosion resistant properties. Weld overlay cladding provides the assurance of a heavy-duty metallurgically-bonded protective layer that will not be undermined or dislodged in service. Welding can be overlaid to an application externally (ie flange face) or weld inlay internally (ie through a pipe bore).
Integrity of the cladding can be confirmed in-house via a variety of non-destructive testing (NDT) methods including dye penetrant and ultrasonic.
Typical materials for cladding in common use at Arc Energy include alloy 625, alloy 825, Monel 60, Hastalloy C-22, Hastalloy C-276, Ultimet, Stellite 6 and stainless steels, as well as many less common alloys.
With over 5,000 qualified weld procedures, and the technical expertise to back them up, Arc Energy can meet any base material and cladding combination.

An extensive library of weld procedures and welder qualifications are certified in accordance with international standards including ASME, API, ISO, DNV, Norsok, MIL and many others. A wide range of base metal/overlay combinations are covered, including carbon and low alloy steels, martensitic, austenitic, 22Cr duplex and 25Cr super duplex stainless steels, nickel and copper based alloys.
Key fabrication and welding activities are supported by in-house heat treatment, rolling, press brake, NC plasma profiling, NDT, PMI and bead blast facilities.

Arc Energy Resources is a proud holder of ASME U & ASME U2 Stamps, enabling us to provide a range of services from full supply of ASME code compliant equipment and pressure vessels to subcontract welding on free-issue ASME standard material.

Through combining our core activities of weld overlay cladding and fabrication, we are able to deliver a fully integrated project management service, providing savings in both production time and costs. Our in-depth knowledge and understanding of many market sectors gives us a specific appreciation of job demands and requirements.
